DC Jets rock Memorial tourney!

The D.C. Jets 14& Under 'A' girls fastpitch softball team went a perfect 7-0 to sweep'The ASA Stazio Memorial Day Weekend Tournament' in Boulder this past weekend. The quality of Parker girls fastpitch softball was proven whentwo Parker 14 'A' teams faced off in the semifinal game. The Colorado Crush, also from Parker, lost a close battle when the D.C.Jets came from behind to win 4-2 and advance to the championship game.

The Jets won the tournament with a 4-0 shutout victory pitched by Jo McCarthy and supported by an outstanding defensive team.

During the 3 day tournament, the undefeated D.C Jets, coached by long time Parker softball guru, Steve Von Strohe, outscored their opponents by a total of 49-8.
