Fall Frenzy attracts more than 600 particpants

More than 600 athletes competed in the Fall Frenzy Triathlon on Sept. 7the Parker Recreation Center, 17301 Lincoln Ave.

Triathletes were challenged by a 500-yard pool swim, followed by a 13-mile bike and a three-mile run.

Duathletes completed a three-mile run followed by a 13-mile bike ride and another three-mile run.

James Bales, of San Antonio, Texas won the triathlon with a time of 55:23:00.

Dean Maruna, of Erie won the duathalon with a time of 1:12:13.
