Chaparral charges over Wheat Ridge

The Chaparral Wolverines outscored Wheat Ridge 23-9 in the third quarter to take a sizeable lead after going into halftime down by four at Chaparral High School, 15655 Brookstone Drive, on Dec. 15.

Chaparral is off until Jan. 3, when they will take on last year's 5A state champion Denver East team at home, starting at 7 p.m.
