Tired of buying new expensive equipment every year? Or are you a local sports team looking to unload all your sports equipment out of storage and make a profit out of it? Well, the Parker Recreation Department has a perfect solution for you! Come join us for the RECycle Sports Equipment Swap on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Parker Fieldhouse, 18700 E. Plaza Dr.

Sell trade or buy - any profit is yours to keep! All recreational equipment is fair game: hockey, football, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, golf, tennis, skateboarding, snow sports and even bikes! If you don't want to purchase a booth, equipment donations will be accepted for the Town booth and will benefit the Town of Parker scholarship fund. Plus all registration fees will go to the scholarship fund.

What is the Town of Parker scholarship fund? The Parker Recreation Department offers scholarships for programs or memberships to Parker resident families who demonstrate a need and qualify for assistance.

Register for one of the following booth space options at www.ParkerRec.com. Space is limited! 10x10 space with no table - $10; 10x10 space with table - $11 (limited amount of tables are available); 10x20 team space - $20 (includes table).

If you don't have enough equipment for your own booth, share with a friend! Or if you are only interested in buying, stop by the swap for a bargain. Concessions will be available for purchase.
