Interesting Rocky Mountain road signs
Contributed by: Joe McDaniel on 9/11/2006

While on road trips I always try and take the time to stop and photograph road signs typical of the region. Rocky Mountainhighways have some that are interesting and, in some cases, probably unique.

The four photos here illustrate a few wildlife related signs.
Ducks - near Granby, Colorado.
Marmots - west of Aspen, near Maroon Lake.
Big Horn Sheep - Highway 40 near Empire, Colorado.
Elk - Highway 64 between Raton and Taos, northern New Mexico.
