A Sing Along: The Many Days of Roxborough Holiday Giving

On the first day of Giving,

Roxborough Elementary raised $250 in a 15 minute challenge sponsored by the Radio Show, Mix 100, for their Thanksgiving Charity Marathon to benefit the Food Bank (this contribution help provide over 1200 meals).

On the second day of Giving,

Roxborough Elementary collected 57 boxes of food for the Bronco's Wives Food Drive.

On the third day of Giving,

Roxborough Elementary gave over 300 pairs of mittens for the Ronald McDonald House.

On the fourth day of Giving,

Roxborough Elementary collected 150 bags of food and toiletries to the Gathering Place, a women's shelter.

On the fifth day of Giving,

Roxborough Elementary collected "Hats for Haley," a 3rd grade student who recently had brain surgery.

On the sixth day of Giving,

Roxborough Elementary adopted families from the Salvation Army for Christmas.

'Tis the season for giving' and for the remaining days through the Holiday Season and into the New Year, Roxborough Elementary inspires you as they have their community of students, staff, and the adults in the Parent Teacher Involvement Committee (PTIC) to get busy thinking of others.
