Pottery Classes for all levels, beginning April 14

Foothills Park & Recreation District invites you to learn the ancient form of pottery at the Ridge Recreation Center (6613 S. Ward St.). The classes are beginner friendly in a social setting and are for all skill levels. Knowledgeable teachers instruct the techniques of wheel throwing on the potter's wheel and hand building. Staff is available during class for in-depth lessons, last minute rescue, and help with a new form or project. Foothills' spacious and fully equipped studio includes gas and electric kilns. Monthly lab hours offered to students for an additional fee. Long nails (natural or artificial) are not suggested. New students are required to attend the first class. Classes begin the week of April 14 - daytime, evening, and weekend classes are available for all skill levels. Six week class fee is $84 (District Rate $68), ages 18 and older welcome.
