What I like most about living here: The Rocky Mountains

My interests and hobbies: Hiking, mountain climbing, reading and traveling

What is my favorite thing to cook: Italian Marble Cake

People who inspired me (and how) :JFK - After I graduated from college I joined the Peace Corps and spent 2 1/2 years in Liberia, West Africa

How I have contributed to the community: I have been active in my community for more than 25 years including such activites as:
Current - Community Advisory Board, Father Ed Judy House; Chair, Board of Directors, Cameron United Methodist Church. Past - Denver Planning Board; President, Harvey Park Improvement Association; Girl Scout Leader.

What are the biggest issues facing the community now?
Health Care - we need a statewide prescription drug-purchasing plan
Education - A solid public education is a Colorado child's key to the American Dream, to a better job and a better life as an adult.
Public Safety - Our police and fire departments deserve top quality equipment and resources.
