Blotter item of the week for May 21:

MAN THREATENS GUARDS WITH BOLT CUTTERS
Police arrested a Longmont man May 17 after he threatened two security guards with bolt cutters and used a stun gun on one of them during a dispute about a boot that was placed on his illegally parked car. One of the guards also deployed a stun gun during the incident. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
