SCRAP THEFT STOPPED
Sheridan police responded to a report of a theft at a business on the 2100 block of West Radcliff Avenue on March 14. The reporting party told police a man was attempting to steal two catalytic converters by throwing them over the fence of the business to two other men. Sheridan police arrested all three men on suspicion of theft.
PORSCHE DAMAGED
A man told Sheridan police on March 15 his classic 1985 Porsche had been damaged while he was parked on the 2900 block of West Hampden Avenue. The man told police someone had tried to break into the car, but they were unsuccessful. Sheridan police had no suspects at the time of the report.
WOMAN FLIPS CAR IN ACCIDENT
Sheridan police and emergency vehicles responded to a rollover accident on the 2400 block of U.S. 285 at 9 p.m. March 17. According to witnesses, the driver of a 1996 Nissan swerved in front of a 1999 Lexus. The driver of the Lexus swerved out of the way of the Nissan and lost control of the car, flipping it twice after running into the center median. The driver of the Nissan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and reckless driving. The woman driving the Lexus was taken to Swedish Medical center with minor injuries.
