Police blotter- Arcade game damaged

CAR STOLEN, RECOVERED
A man reported his car was stolen from the 3300 block of South Eliot Street on April 9. The case was turned over to Sheridan detectives and the car was found in Denver several days later.

COPPER STOLEN FROM CONSTRUCTION SITE
A man reported to Sheridan Police several large pieces of copper had been stolen from a construction site on the 3600 block of South Riverpoint Parkway on April 14. The copper is valued at several thousand dollars. Sheridan police had no suspects at the time of the report.

ARCADE GAME DAMAGED
Sheridan Police responded to a report of a burglary at Red and Jerry's, 1840 W. Oxford Ave. on April 11. The manager told the officer someone had pried open the front of the game and removed an expensive prize from the machine. The officer reviewed a security tape, but the subject could not be identified.

TRUCKS VANDALIZED
Sheridan police responded to a report of criminal mischief on the 1500 block of West Hampden Avenue on April 11. The owner of the Weed Man landscaping company told the officer someone had tried to remove a gas tank from one of his trucks and had broken the window of another. The owner could find nothing missing at the time of the report. Sheridan police will increase patrols in the area, but had no suspects at the time of the report.

Police blotter? Too bad there's never any blotters about how the police brutalize their citizens but I know why there's not - there wouldn't be enough room since they'd run out of space! Don't live in Sheridan or even drive through unless you want to beaten or worse. Just a fair warning.
