NAKED WOMAN HIT BY CAR
Sheridan police responded to a report of a naked woman lying in the street on the 3400 block of South Federal Boulevard at 3 a.m. April 20. According to witnesses, the woman was walking north on Federal when she removed all her clothes, ran into the street and was hit by a car. The woman was taken to Swedish Medical Center. The case remained under investigation at the time of the report. Police suspect alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
METH AND SCALES FOUND
Sheridan police stopped a car for speeding on the 2500 block of U.S. 285 on April 18. When the officer was speaking to the driver, he noticed the driver trying to hide something under his seat. The officer had a K9 officer search the car and found 7.4 grams of suspected methamphetamine and several digital scales in the car. The officer arrested the driver who was booked into the Arapahoe County detention facility. The case has been turned over to the South Metro Drug Task Force.
FIGHT AT UNDER AGE PARTY
Sheridan police responded to a report of a large fight involving 40 to 50 people on the 4100 block of South Irving Street at 3:05 a.m. April 19. Officers interviewed witnesses who told them there was a party with alcohol and minors and a large fight broke out. Officers issued several citations for possession of alcohol by minors and for curfew violations.
LANDLORD TENANT DISPUTE
Sheridan police responded to a landlord/tenant dispute at an apartment complex on the 3200 block of South Bryant Street on April 19. The tenant told the officer his landlord had come into his apartment and threw several items of his personal property off the balcony of the apartment and onto the street. The landlord admitted he did it because the tenant refused to clean up the trash in front of his apartment. The landlord was issued a municipal summons.
