Police blotter-Man rips bible in fight with wife

MAN DESTROYS BIBLE IN FIGHT Sheridan Police responded to a report of domestic disturbance on the 3800 block of South Julian Street on June 19. A woman at the address told officers her boyfriend threw a glass at her while the couple was having an argument. The man also ripped up a bible and destroyed several items in the apartment. The woman said the man told her that if she called the police some people he knows in Mexico would kill her and her daughter. Sheridan Police arrested the man. NUMEROUS VEHICLES VANDALIZED Sheridan Police were called to the 3100 block of West Radcliff Avenue on June 20. A man told officers that someone had smashed the rear window of his 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe. Officers discovered that nine other vehicles in the area had been vandalized during the same period. The case remained under investigation at the time of the report.
FIGHT REPORTED Sheridan Police responded to a report of a fight on the 2600 block of West Hampden Avenue on June 20. The officers spoke to two men who said they had gotten into an argument in the bathroom of a nearby bar and decided to take the argument "outside." Both me declined to file a complaint and the case was closed.
