Police blotter: Computer stolen from home


Incidents reported by Sheridan Police

HOME BURGLARY INVESTIGATED
Police investigated the burglary of a home on the 3500 block of West Mansfield Avenue reported Sept. 19. A resident report hearing a noise overnight, and thought someone was in the house, but found no one. The resident later discovered someone had cut through a rear screen door to gain access and stolen a laptop computer valued at $2,500.

CAMERA STOLEN FROM MOTORCYCLE
Sheridan Police investigated a report of a stole digital camera on Sept. 21. The owner reported he had been on a motorcycle ride Sept. 20 with other bikers earlier in the day and taking photos. He stored the camera in a saddlebag on his motorcycle at a local business and discovered the camera had been stolen Sept. 21. The camera was valued at $2,200.
