CAB DRIVER ASSAULTED BY TRIO
Police investigated an assault on a cab driver reported about 3 a.m. July 1. Officers were dispatched to West Girard Avenue and South Canosa Court where a cab driver reported he was assaulted by three men he had picked up at an address on South Peoria Street, going to the 3200 block of South Bryant Street. The driver said the men began punching him in the head and then fled the scene without paying him.
MAN ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Police arrested a man on suspicion of assault and domestic violence about 1:15 a.m. July 4. Police were dispatched to a residence on the 3500 block of South King Street and found a woman in the street with a bloodied face and swollen eyes. The woman said her boyfriend had allegedly pouched and kicked her during an argument. Police took the man from the residence to the Arapahoe County Jail.
AUTO THEFT SUSPECT ARRESTED
An officer arrested a man on a felony warrant for auto theft about 1 a.m. July 3. The officer saw two men walking in the area of West Kenyon Avenue and South Hazel Court, who appeared to be intoxicated. On questioning, one suspect was found to have an outstanding felony warrant and was taken to the Arapahoe County Jail.
MAN BUSTED ON SEXUAL ASSAULT
Police arrested a suspect wanted on a Denver felony warrant for sexual assault in the 3500 block of South King Street about 2 p.m. July 4. The suspect was located at a residence and turned over to the custody of Denver Police.
