Police blotter: Graffiti taggers busted

GRAFFITI TAGGERS BUSTED
On Sept. 12 about 9:10 p.m., an officer on patrol saw two men writing graffiti on a bathroom wall at Sheridan High School, 3201 W. Oxford Ave. One suspect fled but was captured a short time later. Both were found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and issued multiple summonses, according to the report.

MAN'S VEHICLE REPORTED STOLEN.
Sheridan Police investigated a vehicle theft reported about 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 12. The owner reported he parked his vehicle for about two hours onthe 3500 block of South Platte River Drive and discovered it had been taken when he eturned. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle, according to the report.

VEHICLE THEFTS, VANDALISM REPORTED
On Sept. 13, about 12:50 p.m., Sheridan Police investigated the theft of two vehicle from a parking lot on the 2300 block of West Hampden Avenue. In addition, several other vehicles had windows broken andd tires were stolen from other vehicles. One of the stolen vehicles was recovered nearby, according to the report.

WOMAN CITED FOR ABUSE, NEGLECT
An unidentified woman was arrested on suspicion of child abuse and neglect on Sept. 15, after officers were dispatched to a residence on the 3600 block of South Knox Court to meet with an Arapahoe Department of Human Services caseworker. Officers were told the children could not be allowed to remain at the residence due to numerous health and safety hazards that were confirmed by officers. The children were placed with family members
