I saw the Beatles
Love the Beatles? My most remember able concert event was seeing the Beatles in concert in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 21 1966. My grandmother bought tickets to take myself and my friend Cathy. We drove from Indiana to Crosley Field in Cincinnati. It started to rain before the concert. Everyone was told to keep your tickets and come back tomorrow at noon for an afternoon concert. When we went back the next day my friend did not have her ticket with her. They told us since we where with my grandmother we could go to our seats and if no one came she could stay. The ticket was under her seat all wet. You could not do that today... It was our first concert, and one to remember. DJ from WSAI ,Dusty Rhoades introduced the bands,a group called the Circles was the opening act I remember them singing Red Rubber Ball. The concert was only like 15 minutes for the Beatles but it was something I will never forget. One of the songs they sang was She Loves you along with several others the screaming was so loud you could hardly hear anything. Dee Clark, Thornton Co
