Better people
Contributed by: Travis Henry   on 8/7/2006

My wife is better person than I.

She has dedicated the last several years to helping people in need, currently with the Jefferson Center for Mental Health. Her job consists of long hours, low pay and continuous stress despite the advanced schooling required to hold such a position.

Before this job, she worked to help battered mothers get back on their feet - another job that wasn't exactly lucrative in pay or prestige.

In addition to her job, my wife takes care of our house and our family. She is constantly putting the needs of others before herself, often times with little appreciation and sometimes even resentment.

In my eyes, she is a saint.

Do you know someone like this?

We have teamed up with Mattress King to recognize what we are calling the "Good Knights" of the community. We want to hear your stories aboutpeople who tirelessly help others, whether it be family members or others in the community.

We will recognize them on these Web pages and reward some of them with a brand new mattress.

We also would like to know about charitable organizations that would be enhanced by a new mattress or two.

If you are a regular user of YourHub.com do me a favor and take a few minutes to nominate someone in your community.

If you are a first time user of our site, this would be a good time to post your first entry. All you need to do is, register and then post your story.

I'm anxious to read about all of the great people in our communities.
