Blog Entry 1 of 10 Thoughts from the Rear
I like any activity that does not require me to wear pants. Outside of the obvious, there are three things in this world I love more than anything - Darth Vader, the complete works of AC/DC, and of course cooking a romantic dinner with my Easy-Bake oven.

I got ran over by a moped

Do you ever have those moments when you are sitting in the car, or having dinner and suddenly you remember a moment from your life that embarrasses you so much that it actually makes your stomach knot up and you cringe like you just got an electric shock on your lower front tooth?

Man, this happens to me all the time. Like there was the time when I was five or six and I ran out in the street in front of a moped and got hit by it. Yeah I was okay; I mean it could have been so much worse... Imagine if I'd been hit by Schwinn.

Or the time when I was 12 and I decided it would be fun to pee in a public bathroom sink as opposed to using the toilet like the rest of the conformists. Yeah, nothing says sticking it to the man like making a mess that a guy who probably makes minimum wage has to clean up.

Speaking of vandalism, when I was 14, my friends and I egged a private religious school. If there is a god - and he's catholic - I'm screwed.

I sometimes think about when I was around 18 and got so upset at my then girlfriend (over something I can't even remember) that I flipped her the bird in front of like ten people. Yep, nothing screams class like the middle finger. Just ask the guy who was tailgating me this morning or Jake Plummer. Just kidding Jake, I love you man... But the dude that was tailgating me can go to hell!

Oh god, then when I was like 24, I accidentally ran through a red light with an intersection full of traffic and almost caused a major wreck simply because I was looking for a sports collectable store and not watching the road. Yep, that signed Broncos mini-helmet would have gone great a long with the memory of t-boning some mom and her kids in a mini-van.

Do these moments make us better people? Do we really learn from our mistakes or do we continue to repeat them just in varying degrees of humiliation? I don't know... Maybe I'm just thinking out of my butt.

I kind of feel like this is a sort of confession. Your penance, my son, is to write another blog with more funny stuff in it. At least you see the error in your ways. Some people probably don't when they screw up.

Haha. I bet the driver of that moped was pretty freaked out that he just took out a 6-year-old!
