Description: The Adams County Household Chemical Roundup is a great oportunity for ALL ADAMS COUNTY RESIDENTS (with the exception of Northglenn residents) to dispose of household hazardous waste (things like lawn/garden chemicals, cleaning products, paint and paint products, automotive fluids, household rechargeable batteries, vehicle batteries, tires, propane tanks, etc.).

NEW to this year: We are accepting ALL ELECTRONICS, including computers, TVs, cell phones, printers, data devices, small appliances, stereo equipment, and most items with a plug!! (There are some additional costs associated with some electronics, see bottom for contact information.)

The event will be held atThornton IMC Facility, 12450 Washington St., in Thorntonon Saturday, September 19 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The event is open to all Adams County residents (with the exception of Northglenn residents). Make sure to bring your license or a utilitiy bill so we can verify that you live in Adams County.

Residents interested in coming to the event should load items and waste into their vehicle, making sure that contents are secured and safe for transportation to the event. Participants do not need to get out of their cars at the event, as waste is unloaded for you while you wait.

A $20 dollar contribution is greatly appreciated to help offset the high cost of hazardous waste disposal.
