Children and children-at-heart will love Griffin's Youth Theatre's summer production of "The Jungle Book." Shows will be held on Friday, July 25at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 26 th at 2:00 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church of Northglenn, located at 10620 Washington Street in Northglenn. (Exit I-25 at 104 th Ave. East to Washington. Turn north. 2 blocks to Church, on the east side of Washington.)

A small, multi-aged cast of children bring this marvelous tale to life. Mowgli and Shere Kahn, played by experienced actors, Maddie Dillon and Chance Smith, are two of the delightful characters who sing and dance in this jungle adventure. Sing along with the performers to "Bare Necessities" and King Louie's "I Wanna Be Like You!" Fantastic costumes make the monkeys even more hilarious and endearing. Says Director Amy Griffin, "Children are such tremendous performers. We have all had a marvelous time learning how to adapt these cartoon character roles to real people!"

$2 ticket donations are requested at the door. Part of the proceeds will benefit COFU, a non-profit charity run through the Church. Snacks will be available at intermission.
