Mail-In Ballot Information:

If you will not be at your registered address during this year's election, or would like to vote a mail-in ballot, you need to complete a Mail-in Ballot Application. You may submit your application in person at the Adams County Election Department, 1865 W. 121st Ave. in Westminster, or by mail or fax (303-920-7888) to the election department office.
If you wish to have the mail-in ballot mailed to you, the application must be received in our office no later than 5 p.m. on the seventh day prior to the election (Oct. 28) for which you are making your mail-in ballot request.

A mail-in ballot can be picked up in person until 5 p.m. on the Friday prior to the election (Oct. 30) for which you are completing your mail-in ballot application.
All mail-in ballots must be returned to either the Adams County Election Department, one of the Adams County Motor Vehicle Offices, or other official designated drop-off sites by 7 p.m. the day of the election.
If the ballot is returned by mail, it must reach the election department's office by 7 p.m. the day of the election (Nov. 4). Postmarks do not count; the County Clerk must actually receive the voted ballot by 7 p.m. on Election Day. Any ballots received after this time will not be counted according to law.
