How many police officers does it take. . . .

Why were there so many police officers in my neighborhood on Friday night, July 25th at about 10:00 p.m.? I live off on the west side of 97th & Huron. My son and I were on our way home and we suddenly realized we were invaded by what seemed like the entire Thornton Police Department.

Were the local neighborhood residents in immediate danger? Under what circumstances wouldthe local police start doing reverse 911 calls to warn residents to stay inside? As many police as we saw the situation seemed very serious, yet we read nothing in the newpaper nor heard nothing on the news?
