In celebration of The Rocky Mountain Coca- Cola Collectors Club 20th Anniversary the club is hosting a Coca- Cola SWAP MEET that is open to the public on Sunday, September 2nd at the Ramada Plaza Hotel at 120th and I-25 from 10 am to 2 pm. There will also be free onsite apppraisals.

The Rocky Mountain Coca- Cola Collectors Club will celebrate its 20th anniversary this October. As a way of recognizing this milestone the club is hosting an anniversary celebration over the Labor Day weekend. Besides having activities that will include a hospitality evening, a silent auction, a live auction and an anniversary banquet for both club and national members, and they will be hosting their swap meet that will be open to the public.

Twenty years ago Enrique Garcia a long time resident of Westminister was enjoying his collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia and he wondered if there were others living in the area who also enjoyed this hobby. As a member of the national organization, The Coca- Cola Collectors' Club (TCCCC), he found that there were indeed others in the area. A few phone calls resulted in a meeting at his home and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the TCCCC was created. These past years have resulted in great fellowship, fun activities, and various swap meets have introduced the club and its fun to the public. Club members established a Coca Cola museum at Heritage Square which was open for several years. The club meets 4 times a year in January, April, July and October with activities of picnic, banquet, silent auction, etc. along with sharing of new found treasures and interesting history of collecting Coca Cola.

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Coca- Cola Collectors Club is not sponsored by the Coca Cola Company. It is, however, a chapter of the TCCCC which is a non-profit volunteer organization. The Coca- Cola Collectors Club is one of the oldest organizations dedicated to the collecting and preservation of advertising material related to a single company. Founded in 1974, TCCCC has grown from a few members who wanted to share their hobby and collections to an international organization with thousands of members worldwide. For more information about TCCCC, please visit the website: www.cocacolaclub.org.

Again, the swap meet on Sunday, September 2nd is open to the public from 10 am to 2 pm, so please stop by so you can start or add to your Coca- Cola collection. For further information about the event or membership in the organization, contact:
