Kick off to help fight cancer
Contributed by: Marge Carlow on 4/5/2008

Do you know know 12 people you'd like to spend the night with? What are you doing on September 6-7, 2008? Why don't you be a part of the American Cancer Webster Lake Relay for Life? It's time to talk to friends and family and get your team together. Come to Kick-off for teams, survivors and sponsors on April 14, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Radisson Greystone Castle at 120th and I-25.

Cancer survivors are encouraged to come to Kick-off. You are our inspiration! We need you to show us how research does work and inspire us to raise even more money for cancer research, support and education.

Relay for Life teams of 10-12 members raise funds to fight cancer. They gather on September 6-7 at E. B. Rains Park in Northglenn and walk around Webster Lake in support of cancer victims and additional research for a cure for cancer. Last year the event had over 40 teams and raised $100,000 for the American Cancer Society. With your help, we can do better this year!

To register your team call Denise at 303-457-3847. To come to Kick-off or to get more information about the Relay for Life call Marge at 303-452-0264 or e-mail rflwebsterlake@yahoo.com.
