Moments
Contributed by: Rob Kelly on 7/11/2006

Moments. Life is really a kaleidoscope and collection of moments. Far too many to ever relive each one, or share each one, or even remember each one. But moments happen all the time - one right after the other. We create moments and wait a moment. Some moments color our life without our choosing. These type of motile moments make time stand still. These moments hold us captive. They inspire awe and awful.

Moments are underrated and overrated, ignored and applied. They slip through the tight grasp of our mind and they won't leave the open palm of our heart. Moments give answers and create questions. Moments are captured and moments are lost. Moments change history and construct history.

We can be lost in the moment and the moment can be lost on us. Moments are marked by certificates, calendars, candles, coffins, and confetti. Moments seem overwhelming, never-coming and never-ending. In a moment life changes. In a moment life begins and in a moment life ends. LIVE the moment. Moments matter - each and every one.

Brings to mind the quote "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away". Good points to ponder in your story.
