Thornton teacher honored by Boettcher Foundation

Boettcher Foundation student fellowship winners recognized their most influential teachers Aug. 7 at the Boettcher Foundation Teacher Recognition Dinner. Legacy High School graduate, James Liu, recognized teacher Sara Marx and Thornton High School graduate, Suguna Narayan, recognized teacher Steve Frazier. The schools received plaques and teachers Marx and Frazier received plaques and $1,000 for school-related activities.
 
Boettcher Foundation President and Executive Director Timothy Schultz noted that Adams 12 Five Star Schools is one of two school districts that participate in the placement of teachers when fellowships are complete.
