Celebrate Your Library!
Contributed by: Ann Myers on 4/15/2008

The Rangeview Library District joins libraries across the country the week of April 13th through April 19th in celebration of National Library Week and its 50th anniversary. It's a time to rediscover and celebrate all that libraries have to offer.

Libraries have always been a part of the American dream- places for education, self-help and lifelong learning. Today, they are at the forefront of the information age, making information accessible in multiple formats to people of all ages. It's a great time to check out the library's Wifi, databases, bestsellers, DVD jukebox, book clubs and story times.

Libraries offer us a world of opportunity just for the asking, but they can't live on love alone. National Library Week is a great time to stand up and speak out for your library.

I'm at the Regis University Library, right now! We are so fortunate to have a wide variety of resources available within the same few miles. Westminster, Rangeview, College Hill, DU, Denver, Arapahoe County, Lakewood, all right at our finger tips. Good Reading!
