Innate Intelligence Naturally
Contributed by: DR. SEAN REIF D.C. on 9/9/2007

We have a natural intelligence that knows how fast to beat our heart, digest our food, ward off infections, heal a cut, and help us to adapt to the environment. Doctors of Chiropractic refer to this as "Innate Intelligence." It requires no conscious thought. It has nothing to do with being smart and it works perfectly - unless there is some type of interference.

Our nervous system, consisting of the brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of the body, control our innate life expression. This intricate web of delicate nerves is in touch with every cell, tissue, organ and system of our bodies. Any disruption, irritation, or change in the ability of our nervous system to orchestrate the functions of our body can set the stage for disease and ill health.

The most common nervous system disruption is the Vertebral Subluxation. When the bones of the spinal column lose their normal motion or position, they can irritate the spinal cord and nerve roots. Removing interferences to the function of the nervous system allows our bodies' inborn healing ability to heal and repair itself, NATURALLY.

LIFE AND HEALTH is the ability to have NATURAL AND NORMAL internal QUANTITY of motion, automation, locomotion, be an auto-mobile in all its movable body parts, per the unity of life’s span of time. To REDUCE any QUANTITY of motion BELOW internal par level of its par QUANTITY of force, energy of nerve force flow, is to REDUCE in exact ratio its functional activity in QUANTIY of motion, thereby DECREASING its QUALITY of products or by-products, singly or in combinations issued by that action, as predetermined by the REDUCED or slowed-down speed of motion per given units of time involved, producing a corresponding PARALYSIS OF MOTION. LIFE is motion. That which MOTIVATES ACTION in vertebrate is nerve force flow, THRU muscles, contracting them by shortening their stroke, moving that TO WHICH they are attached. Series of alternate RELAXATIONS, following a series of alternate CONTRACTIONS, makes possible a series of subsequent contractions, CAUSES MOTION in body matter.
