Halloween fun at the library
Contributed by: Ann Myers on 10/31/2006

Quite a cast of characters gathered at the Thornton Branch Library on Tuesday to celebrate Halloween. The Hulk and Batman joined several Belles, Power Rangers, Skeletons, various animals, the Little Mermaid and others for some spooky fun. About 50 costumed little ones attended the party.

Everyone made spiders, snacked on good treats and witches brew. They also received some special gifts, including a book of their choice.

Minnie Mouse, (Branch Librarian Kim Pens) shared stories of the Tiny Tiny Ghost and Pumpkin Moon. The rowdy Mouse even led the group in a couple rounds of the Chicken Dance.
