The light elf has gone berserk!
Contributed by: Linda Kyle on 12/1/2006

My husband, is the "self-proclaimed official Light Elf." Every year, he decorates our home with holiday lights. He doesn't over-do it and just adds stuff just for the sake of adding stuff - he does keep it tasteful, I will admit. However, he and our neighbor keep an eye on one another's displays...and if one adds something new, the other seems to "have to" add something as well...it has been going on for a few years now. This "Light War" is in fun, and has actually been the reason some other neighbors, who had not previously put up lights, or if they had, very little, to put up more of a display..thus lighting the way to our neighborhood a little more brightly - and keeping Excel smiling, I'm sure.

Come check out my husband's gift to everyone - a happiness for the Christmas holiday and a beautiful sight of lights to put a smile on your face.

12566 Ash St., Thornton, CO - 2 blocks east of Colorado Blvd - turn east onto 125th Ave, turn north (left) onto Ash St. - then turn (right) into the east cul-de-sac, we're at the end of the cul-de-sac.

Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas, and be safe.
