Thornton Bikers Crea McMullin and Bob Klein joined the annual Run For the Wall XVIII today in Limon, CO - to honor and ride for those who can't: the POW/MIA's of all our great Nation's Foreign Wars. Their week-long ride will end in Washington, DC at the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall, part of the Rolling Thunder Parade of 500,000 bikers from all over America, who join every year to remember the 88,788 who never came home- and are still unaccounted for.
Bob Klein is a Veteran of Viet Nam, and won't forget them. Crea's father was a Vet, and he supports and honors all of our Nation's Veterans. RFTW rides across our country with a Missing Man Formation at the front of the pack. The riders sign up months in advance and rotate for this solemn honor.
As they cross the Nation, they will join "Gathering of the Veterans" ceremonies at Memorial Parks. They will visit VA Hospitals, and share meals with VFW and American Legion Posts and Church Communities. Their mission will be accomplished on May 26 when they walk as a family to the apex of The Wall, to place a plaque in remembrance of those for whom they rode.
Crea and Bob ride for those who can't - let's not forget our POW/MIA's this Memorial Day.

It's great to read about the support for our veterans, especially those who gave it all. My memories of LT John B. Martin II and LT Joseph R. Klugg live on forever. hopefully we'll all remember the service and sacrifice of all who have served and are still serving our country.
