Fifty years of wedded bliss for the Schells
On 7/15/2006
Contributed by: Nancy Carr on 7/8/2006

Albert ("Al") and Louise Schell, longtime residents of Northglenn, celebrate their 50th anniversary July 15.

They first met when they were out with friends Carlyle and Helen. Al thought Louise was the pretty one and asked her out on a date. Much to the amusement of their future children, they went roller skating (which coincidentally is how Al's parents met). They dated for two years; Al drove between Edgewater and Longmont to see Louise. They were married by Louise's father at St. Stephens Church in Longmont.

The Schells have three children, Ken with wife Laura, Dave with wife Kris, and Nancy Carr with husband Brian. They also have nine grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.

Their family wishes them a happy anniversary and would like to thank them for showing us all a fine example of a loving relationship.
