Taste of Ownership Fair April 26

The Adams County Housing Authority is proud to sponsor the first annual Taste of Homeownership Fair on Saturday, April 26, 2008, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The event will be held at the Adams County Fairgrounds, 9755 Henderson Road in Brighton.

The Taste of Homeownership Fair is an educational opportunity for anyone looking to buy a home. Classes will be held throughout the day. Experts will be available to answer questions of both first time homebuyers and current homeowners wondering about buying in this housing market.

Real estate agents will be available to answer questions regarding the home buying process and how to conduct your search. Credit counselors will help you evaluate your credit score and readiness to purchase. Lenders will help you to understand your affordability and requirements for obtaining a mortgage. Housing Authorities will explain down payment assistance programs. Non-profit agencies can answer your questions about specialty areas such as disability programs and foreclosure prevention.
