"Live the Life You Want" September 17
The Senior Resource Fair gives Seniors and the people who care for them a chance to learn about issues that affect their lives. "Live the Life You Want", will be the focus of the fair to be held on September 17 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Crossroads Church North Campus, 53 E. 128th Ave., Thornton.
The Senior Resource Fair is free and open to everyone. There will be a number of informational seminars including;
· Health, nutrition and wellness
· Legal issues
· Frauds and scams
· Cost of Medicare supplements
· Managing your medication
· End of life issues
· Nutrition for seniors
· Long-term care planning
· Living with arthritis
· Living with chronic illness
· Estate planning
There will also be many organizations and vendors giving out information about services available to seniors. "This is an invaluable seminar for local area seniors, and I would encourage everyone to attend," said Detective Gregg Beary. "The amount of free information and resources provided means that everyone should walk away with information that empowers them to live the life they want."
