With the announcement, the Foundation is seeking volunteers to help us with the event as it will draw thousands of visitors. You can help with any number of tasks including setting up and taking down the wall, daytime staffing to work the computer and assist visitors (guest services), overnight guest services and security. If you would be interested in volunteering, please email us at
info@thorntonveteransmemorial.org
or call Kim Jetton at 303-280-0064. We would appreciate your help!

I've been to The Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C.It is a beautiful but haunting place. To see the thousands of names and wondering who these people are, what's there story, where are their loved ones and how did they cope, where are these people from? All these questions went through my mind as I walked along the black shiney wall filled with names of people who died serving our country.I can't go back to see it and won't see it again. It is so sad and I was haunted for days after going.Too many questions and no answers.I have done a lot of reading on the Vietnam War and still so many questions and very little answers.May they rest in peace.
