ADAMS COUNTY -- The sheriff's office released new details April 12 into the shooting of Denver Nugget's guard Julius Hodge.

Hodge was shot several times in the legs by a passing car at approximately 2 a.m. on Interstate 76, near Club Paladium in unincorporated Adams County. He was later taken to a nearby hospital by a Thornton couple.

The sheriff's office has also released new details into the suspects who shot Hodge.

The driver of the suspect vehicle is being described as a black male with dreadlocks or braids. The passenger is described as a black male with a thin build and dark complexion who was wearing a green T-shirt and a red baseball cap.

The sheriff's office is still seeking the assistance from the public. If you have seen a vehicle fitting the description or witnessed the incident, please call 720-322-1313.
