Contributed by: Rotary Club of Denver Metro North on 9/8/2007

The Rotary Club of Denver Metro North would like to cordially invite you to a special meeting of our club during which we will hold a candidates forum for the Office of Mayor of the City of Thornton.

This meeting will be held on Tuesday morning, September 18, 2007 at the Golden Corral Restaurant located just north of the Sam's Club on Grant Street in Thornton. The meeting will start promptly at 7:30 AM with an optional breakfast buffet ($10.00 per person), followed by the candidates' forum starting at 8a.m. lasting until approximately until 9 a.m.

Each of the candidates will have five minutes to present themselves and their issues followed by a question and answer period of about 30 minutes after all of the candidates have spoken.

Rotary is a totally non-political organization, and we do not support or endorse any political candidate. The purpose of this forum is to provide information to those who attend to help them be informed as tocandidates' concerns and positions about the future of our City.
