Thornton , CO .... The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has notified that the date has changed for the 128th Avenue overpass at I-25 will be closed beginning Monday, October 3 for a period of 4 weeks. This closure is to repair the bridge deck of 128th Avenue due to its poor condition. Currently about 16,000 vehicles per day use this overpass structure. CDOT will set up a detour that will take motorists up to 136th Avenue to use that crossing at I-25.  CDOT prefers that traffic not use 120th Avenue due to the current construction.
