ThorntonWeather.com, the north metro area's premier source for live and local weather, continues to improve and add features. The site is truly the single most comprehensive source for weather related information and news.

New features added in recent months include:

News & blog - A section dedicated to discussing not only Thornton weather but weather events across the state and the nation. ThorntonWeather.com provided comprehensive and concise updates when Hurricane Gustav struck the Gulf Coast last week as well as during significant local events like the Windsor tornadoes this spring.

Storm reports - National Weather Service spotters, of which ThorntonWeather.com is one, provide real time updates on significant weather conditions as they happen. These reports are now available on our website.

Hurricane tracker - While Thornton is not affected by hurricanes, much of the nation is and many of us know people that live in those areas. We have partnered with Stormpulse to provide live tropical storm and hurricane tracking data including current location of storms, the expected path, satellite overlays and much more.

Rocky Mountain Weather Network - We launched a comprehensive weather network providing real time data from weather stations across Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. You can see not only what the current conditions are but also visit the various station's websites for more detailed information. The Rocky Mountain Weather Network discussion forum is also available for anyone interested in the weather that wants to stop by and visit with others with similar interests.
