Remember when we said no to this before, well things really should not change now should they.
Ms. Ciancio once again is trying to force the issue on us, actually she promised to. Is Ms. Ciancio aware of the current economy situation on the planet earth ? and you have to ask yourself can the blue collar families that are not only loosing their jobs and houses in Thornton able to line the pockets of Mapelton public Schools ? and just how honest will they be with the money this time. Hey here is a thought voters, What ever happened to the Millions from the Gates Grant ? don't think she ever really did tell us what happened to that money or are they recieving revenue from the property that Stop to Shop and other vendors sit on that the school owns.
But the most important thing here is our children's education and future. Here is the big question , Do you want to continue to support a superintendent who has failed miserably at her post and has decreased the values of our homes because of property damage and tagging etc. from merging with her vision " The Big Failure "
All her self advertising exploits make you believe that she has done this incredible job here in Thornton...actually ask all the surrounding District 12 and Charter schools where their new students come from " Mapleton " Why ? remember CSAP for the past 5 years..yea 5 years.
Let's get the old neighborhood back to normal and impeach this disaster and start fresh with a new school board that is not compiled of her friends.
All my children attend out of district schools and the information I'm getting is that their is a major list of people trying to get into charters and District 12 schools because of the extremely poor education their children are receiving at Mapleton. Not a believer ?....go ask your surrounding districts.... better yet ask other former parents and students of Mapleton Public Schools RIGHT here.
VOTE NO THEN IMPEACH !
