Do you recall a Christmas in the mid 70s when we were told we should not have any external Christmas lights so that we would save energy?
I don't know if it made any difference in the energy level, but it sure put a damper on our general feelings that year.
Lucky for us, that is not the case for this year. There seems to be many more light displays, everyone is getting into the spirit.
I have been searching the web sites for addresses and generally meandering around Northern Thornton, wherever the bright glow leads me. I have found some outstanding light displays. Some of them have been announced on this web site, others are yet anonymous. I'll try to fix that.
So put the kids in the car and get out there and enjoy the work your neighbors have put forth. I'm sure Excel Energy appreciates your work.
Here are some of the best, but I'm sure there are many more. And I'm not done yet.
