Hansen launches campaign for mayor at Thorntonfest

Thorntonfest was the scene for fun last Saturday as Thornton City Councilmember Erik Hansen launched his campaign for Mayor. "We gave away over a thousand beach balls and balloons, so we were really excited about our campaign," said Hansen. "We found everyone to be friendly and very receptive to our message of Building Thornton Together."

Erik Hansen has been a member of Thornton City Council since 2001, and with encouragement from the community has launched his campaign for Mayor. "Together we can attract the best-paying jobs, build family friendly neighborhoods and put people at the center of city government.
