I would like to nominate the Board of Directors from Northern Lights Little League to watch a game from a suite at Coors field. This group of 12 men and women have helped build one of the best youth baseball/softball programs in the state.Northern Lights Little League in Thornton provides an affordable baseball/softball program for over 600 boys and girls from the ages of 5 through 18 and a challenger division for the special needs kids in our community. Whether its the free preseason skills clinics, watching a game at Coors Field with your team or the end of season carnival you can tell the passion of this Board is to provide memories and a love of baseball that will last a lifetime. Going out to the Northern Lights Complex on any given Saturday you can see hundreds of eager young ballplayers anxiosly awaiting to play their games. Matching uniforms, family members in the stands, siblings playing on the playground and mini diamond, with the smell of hot dogs in the air and the national anthem played at the beginning of every game day-these are all daily occurances during the baseball season and memories these kids will carry with them, but will they know who made it possible? Please help us say "Thank You" and show them how much they are ALL appreciated.
