Girl wants new Thornton library
Contributed by: Sara Haberer on 3/27/2006

I think having a library at the corner of 120th Avenue and Holly Street in Thornton would be a wonderful thing to have.

First of all, it would be a great use of land. All of the grass is dying. So why don't we put the land to good use? It has been vacant the whole 10 years I've lived here.

Secondly, during the last few weeks of summer break I get really really bored. If we had the library that close, I could ride my bike up there.

Third, the picture I saw in the newspaper was really beautiful and it would fit right in the area. It would look totally cool.

Fourth, we don't have a library near us so we never get to go to a public library. If you built the library it would be educational and a fun place to go when you're bored.

I really hope you will consider putting in the library. I don't see why anybody would say no because it would be the best place for a library!

Yours truly,
