Vote for Bill Christopher for RTD
Contributed by: Ron Hellbusch on 9/29/2006

To RTD Voters:

On Nov. 7, we will have the opportunity to elect a representative to the RTD Board of Directors who will be guiding the "FasTracks" Program, the largest Denver Region transportation program in recent history. Substantial portions of that transportation program can significantly improve local and Metro Area transportation systems for us who live in the Westminster, Federal Heights and adjoining Adams and Jefferson County area.

There are two candidates for District J that represents Westminster and the Northglenn-Thornton area. I intend to vote for Bill Christopher, the current incumbent director who resides in Westminster. The other candidate is a Northglenn resident, with Northglenn transportation interests.

The primary issue in this RTD election is simple and logical; who will best represent the interests of Westminster, Federal Heights and the surrounding Adams and Jefferson County residents and business most effectively? In my view, that is Bill Christopher, the candidate that lives in Westminster and knows our local neighborhood transportation needs.

Bill Christopher is the current incumbent RTD board representative. Bill has the history, knowledge, experience and leadership to continue to provide our communities with the most efficient, local transportation system. In addition, Bill Christopher has the history of our area local governments and knows our communities transportation needs.

Please join me in voting for Bill Christopher. We will be assuring that the transportation needs of Westminster, Federal Heights and Adams and Jefferson Counties will be well served.
