Fellow Residents of Thornton,
I have had the pleasure of knowing Erik Hansen since moving to the city of Thornton and I have never met a person with a greater sense of commitment to his community. As a father, a husband, and a businessman, Erik draws upon his experiences and his expertise to create his vision for a better Thornton. Others may talk about what they hope for Thornton's future; Erik is doing something about it.
Erik's commitment to Thornton is second only to his commitment to family and it is with this in mind that Erik is striving to make Thornton neighborhoods better and safer places to raise a family. Erik has a real plan to help secure our schools and clean up our communities through efforts like a permanent graffiti task force. Additionally, Hansen has a blueprint to redevelop abandoned and declining areas of Thornton to polish these diamonds in the rough and to reinvigorate and bring new life to these segments of the city.
Hansen's plan to bring 10,000 jobs to the city in 10 years is also the perfect transition to move Thornton away from simply being a "bedroom" community. Developing and fostering the tax base to support the city and properly fund and grow emergency services for generations to come is paramount to the future of Thornton.
I have been proud to call Erik my councilman for years and I strongly encourage you to join me in electing him as our mayor. It's time for a change, it's time for action, and it's time for Erik Hansen.
Sincerely,
Randy Drennen
