Devoted Husband and Father and Mayor

Devoted Husband and Father and Mayor

I am Marty Wisniewski's Father-In-Law. I have known Marty for 30 years. I know him as a devoted husband and father and observed him as he raised two fine children - Justin, now a Fire Fighter and a former Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq, and Matthew, a computer programmer with a Computer Science Degree.

Marty has always been involved with his family. He led his boys as a scout leader, baseball and soccer coach, and as a role model exemplifying a hard working honest family man.

Though still a family man, Marty has extended his sights to helping his neighbors and our community by becoming a public servant. He has spent eight years on the Thornton City Council and has served on many committees and projects within the city structure to maintain and improve living conditions in the Thornton community. His record speaks for itself.

Marty is backed by long standing leaders of our community including former Mayor Margaret Carpenter, Council Members Sheila Fushimi and Jan Bach ,State Senator Lois Tochtrop and State Representative John Soper along with former Councilpersons Bob Johnson and Sharon Works.

I firmly believe Marty is and will continue to be an asset to the City of Thornton and the surrounding communities as Mayor of Thornton. I believe that Marty's family values, experience, and leadership skills set him apart from the other candidates and make him the best choice for Mayor.

Sincerely,

Ronald Gianna
