HIGHLANDERS TRAIN FOR NATIONAL DIVISION 1 CHAMPION
Contributed by: DR. SEAN REIF D.C. on 2/24/2007

America's love affair with RUGBY is growing. Whether you are a "WEEKEND WARRIOR" or a seasoned "PROFESSIONAL", it is important to be mindful of simple measures that will improve your game and overall health.

Coach Steve Lewis puts the Highlander Possibles and Highlander Probables through their paces in a 3 1/2 hour High Intensity Clinic. "Coach" put the boys through all the drills he learned at National Coaching clinic earlier this February in San Diego, CA. Thornton Multi-Purpose Fields proved an excellent paddock with lovely turf, adequate parking and facilities. The 11:00 - 2:30 on Saturday, February 24, 2007 run allowed the boys to stretch their legs and work with focus and intensity after being cooped up in the gym all winter.

We developed a ritual of WARM-UP STRETCHES to follow both on and off the pitch. Practice a combination of abdominal and lower back exercises to improve balance and posture, which is important in the scrum down, lineout, and counter attack. We get professional coaching-training guidance from time to time to improve balance, endurance, and reflexes to match your changing physical capabilities.

Doctors of Chiropractic are trained and licensed to treat the entire musculoskeletal system. If you experience neck, lower back, midback, shoulder, knee, arm or wrist discomfort, consult your Chiropractor. The care your receive will assist in improving your balance, posture, and will help reduce the likelihood of future injury which will enhance your enjoyment of the game.

The overlooking the many towns and countryside, Aspen is the community, the citizens, that inhabits a place, the City Center and Cultivated Land. The Polis makes the existence of face-to-face community. Some participate in the Union of National sides, but the Greeks remained strong to these small, separate communities. It is the intimacy of community life that makes possible the accomplishments of the Age. Men produce their best work in a setting of Vibrant and Vigorous community.
