Our team management believes in leading by example. Our top people embody the VALUES we uphold, in our professional and personal lives. History is full of examples, both good and bad, in which the influence of one individual has had a powerful affect on other people and their organizations. Even though there may be other noble goals, most businesses exist to make money for the owners. As a leader, we must always remember not to shortchange ethical behavior for profits.
In today's transparent world, we will be called upon to justify our actions by others - both inside and outside our organization - and remember, they have the advantage of hindsight on their side. We have to know what is RIGHT, and ACT on it, in the PRESENT.
I consider it a tremendous HONOR to uphold our traditions and our commitments to ethics. It is a privilege and a responsibility, but it is immensely gratifying because I feel I am making a meaningful contribution.
